My youngest and most curious - Alex.

Lately he has asked me so many 'what if' and 'why' questions. He wants to know everything and thinks I already do.

He is a big hugger without reason. He likes 'man cheese's and eggs in toast just because I do. He climbs into my side of the bed often. He drinks mostly water and has no idea how good that is for him. His mind is innocent and unlimited.

My oldest and most creative - Gabrielle.

Art and music are what make up her soul. She loves to read - insatiably. She's extremely versatile in her word choice as a result which makes for an unparalleled conversation or playful banter in a consistently unpredictable pattern.

She is truly responsible and almost entirely self sufficient, yet she is only 10. I'm extremely proud of who she is becoming.

My in between and the sweetest - Trevor.

He is quiet when he thinks and very social when having fun. He loves science and making things. He craves touch and being near others.

He loves his family and wears his heart on his sleeve mostly. He enjoys video games as much as I do and likes being the life of the party when there is one.

To my Princess,

You are such a joy in my life. When I found out I was going to be a Father I was so nervous because I wanted to be good enough for you. I wanted to be able to give you the love you deserve and the support you need and the wisdom to make your own choices. 10 years later (photo is when you are younger but is a favorite of mine) you are such an amazing human being and surprise me almost daily with something I didn't expect. You are becoming independent and entirely self responsible and I'm not ready for it. I won't hold you back ever but you will always be my Princess.

My youngest woke up the other morning and asked his Mommy for a Man's breakfast.

She chuckled and asked him what he meant.

He replied similar to, "I want eggs and toast like Daddy - with the time stuff."

We both smiled and laughed and she made it for him after double checking that is indeed what he wanted.

He ate every bite. Such a kid.
