Hi People,

It's been a few days, but I'm working on making this a daily thing like I stated recently. Thanks for waiting on me.

Something came to mind over the past few days which I don't often write about. Work. Work has changed for so many people over the past few years, as well as the many other parts of our lives. I'm lucky to work at a place I enjoy, doing a job I love, even on the hard days. Some people never find that. I do lots of things at work and I've been there over 5 years now. I'm trusted by many and looked up to by others due to my work ethic and knowledge of how we do things - and how we should do them.

Still, with all of the many things I do, in the end, what is it? I get to help people. I help team members, who help others. I help clients to do their jobs, by fixing their issues, which allows them to help others. If we all focus on the core of our human interaction when working, we are helping others.

When that stays front of mind, it helps us keep our humanity in every interaction we have at work. That changes not only your day but the people you interact with, for the better. Smile when on the phone, your tone will change. Ask them how they are doing and mean it. Tell people you appreciate them, even when a situation is tense. Trust me.

Love each other as human beings. Work included.
